Mid to late evening. Did my serving duties. 15 fewer beers but more ciders than past years. All selling well, not too much left for tomorrow. Most popular ciders by far were Turners Apple Pie and Kent Cider Vim-top.

Well packed but got seat and enjoyed watching Mr Pirip doing his annual shift. Great value festival that does my liver no good at all.

White Cliffs Festival of Winter Ales. 24th anniversary of this winter festival held in the atmospheric Maison Dieu Town Hall. A 2 day (Friday and Saturday) festival with 70 or so beers which are all winter and strong ales on gravity, all 5.0% abv or higher, at a flat rate £1.50 per half and £3 per pint. A Dover tradition.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 60 different beers and tried 15 of them.
