Early evening on a wet night. This pub has been expanded significantly since my last visit with the ground floor extended through an arch into the adjacent property. The decor of old metal signs and other 20th century memorabilia has been carried through. A good number of eaters and drinkers, good feel to the place.

Early evening and very busy, diners were having to wait for tables. I wondered why so many pubs in this town no longer bother to open on Tuesdays. Service was very good and friendly. I shared a table with a group of people from Dover who were having drinks before going to the Mexican Restaurant opposite the pub.

Hop Fuzz - American4.20ExcellentIn top condition.

Late lunchtime - just a couple of other customers in. Our group of 7 debated whether this was a micro-pub or not - no consensus- but we all liked it nonetheless.
