Quite busy at the tail end of the lunch service with a mix of diners and wanderers in search of refreshment such as myself.

The pub is found in Newhaven, East Sussex, BN9 9DN.

A popular pub which nestles below Newhaven Fort and beside the outer harbour at the start of the West Pier. As one would expect, it houses much nautical ephemera. A selection of seating areas within and a few wooden benches on the green across the road from the pub. There is also a first floor balcony area.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
