I moved here from the Wetherspoon, from which it is almost imperceptibly different. The presence here of TV screens and recorded music being the best way to tell them apart. A pint and a bag of nuts for £2:85.

A large, town centre chain pub standing next door to the large town centre J D Wetherspoon establishment. Renamed Flute & Flagon in 2015 after doing time as a Hog’s Head. Pavement tables at the front.
