Last venue tonight on a little Bermondsey Beer Mile saunter.

This bar hosted a festival of Franconian beer last week and the last surviving casks are being eked out one at a time. We were so excited by this discovery that I neglected to note the other cask beers available tonight from Moor.
Brauerei Zehendner - Mönchsambacher Export 5.20GoodExport is not my favourite beer style to be honest, but this is good from gravity dispense.
14 Jul 2018 (Stephen Harris)
This place vies with Southwark Brewery to be the premier cask beer outlet along the Mile, and it is busy today.
Moor - Return of the Empire5.70ExcellentGolden and hazy. An impressive and tasty English-style IPA. Really good.
Moor - Deadpunk All Dayer 3.50GoodAn easy-drinker.

I had quite a stroll along the Bermondsey Beer Mile tonight although only really took notes at this place, the one venue I called at that had a significant cask beer offering.
Moor - B-Moor6.00ExcellentFrom key-keg. A black Porter; well-hopped with Mosaic and with a dry, bitter finish.
Moor - Italia'Hop4.10GoodMurky gold from cask. Fine hop flavours, but on a street full of breweries, this one seems lacking in freshness.
Moor - Revival3.80Not Tried
Moor - Raw4.30Not Tried

In contrast to Brew By Numbers, a couple of doors away, this still-new bar is almost empty.
Moor - Smokey Horyzon5.00GoodFrom a keg of some sort. Cloudy amber in colour all Moor Brewery beers are unfined. Exceptionally smoky. Also has a rye malt character.

My first visit to this new addition to the Bermondsey beer scene, which I think is opening on Fridays to Sundays. Good to chat to a brewery representative and hear how this brewery has developed since its move to Bristol.
Moor - Berri Txarrak Do It Together 5.20GoodFrom a keg of some sort. A striking beer that includes mango and tea in the recipe.
