After my meal at the other end of seafront I came here to meet up with some of my other cyclist buddies. Open mike night with some enthusiastic singing. The pub was heaving and, when I left around 10 pm the rain had lifted and it was daylight. I had something that I thought was marked up in chalk on the pump clip as Ringwood Kirkin Best at 3.8% - can’t find it on the web though - it was very ordinary and I was gobsmacked that it was £4 a pint this far north.
