Impromptu London trip for FA cup match at Craven Cottage. First stop off the train here, late afternoon, comfortable. Other beers not noted.

Late afternoon and busy as expected I met a group of friends already here and they had fortunately bagged a table. We had intentions of heading off to some 'real' pubs but decided to stay put until our late evening depature home. Once again enjoyed the superb freshly cooked pizzas which made the perfect beer fodder! I've omitted bothering to list the usual boring national blands available.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Portobello - JPA4.20ExcellentPale ale brewed with whole leaf Japanese Green Tea.
Portobello - Sauce on the Side Cranberry Sauce Stout5.20ExcellentHeavily flavoured with cranberries made for a dangerous fruity broth.
Twickenham (also uses sub-brand Old Hands) - Naked Ladies4.40GoodMy friend questioned this as flavourless and bland to which I stated 'that's how its meant to taste'!

Mid evening busy, I found a table by the window and enjoyed one of JDW's excellent spicy meat feast pizzas with extra chillies, mushrooms and red onions. Ordered on the app and arrived a few minutes later with my beer, superb service.

Late evening- 20 minutes until my train so I was tempted - and needed to celebrate Fulham’s 3-1 win that I had witnessed earlier. Lost of other ales on - not noted.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Portobello - JPA4.20GoodFairly sure it was this JPA - first time I’ve come across a Japanese Pale Ale - very quaffable.

A very swift half of something that I didn’t note en-route between underground and train home. My LEJOG tour had been abandoned on Day 5 having ridden over 320 miles and getting a good lick on visiting new pubs. Gutted. This place seems ok but I was in no mood to make notes.

Mid evening visit. Lucky to get a table. This place has completely captured the station's volume market. School of Hard Knocks vouchers were accepted with comment but good grace!
