Lunchtime we sat in the quieter front bar with two other customers in this locals pub, the rear bar was busy with mostly older folk. Despite the recent refurbishment consisting new flooring, purple vinyl seating and the aroma of freshly painted interior and exterior lilac walls it still retains a basic pub atmosphere.
