It's fight err folk week in Broadstairs and the pubs are full on a sunny Tuesday afternoon. Great selection of ales see us choose the pub for our afternoon tipple. Pity about the plastic
BeerABVScoreNotes

Second visit here and very impressed with beer and how this place has been done up. Good crowd in. 3 ales and lots of key keg on. Came back for second visit later as the selection of beer here was better than Magnet, 39 steps and Chapel...and cheaper at £3.20 a pint.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Iron Pier - Porter5.30ExcellentIn superb nick

Evening visit until late, my colleague's and my first visit but there again it only opened yesterday. Upon entering initially blinded by the brightly lit bar back but that soon settled down. Very enthusiastic and friendly young owners. I think they admit it is still a bit of a work in progress with a need for noise baffling with lots of empty wall and cupboard space still. The vinyl disks played on the record player were not intrusive. The place engendered continuous conversation.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Boutilliers - Swim Until You Can't (KeyKeg)5.40GoodTasty saison with peppery overtones but I was belching within one swig, as overcarbonated
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Seasider4.30AcceptableA bit of a hoppy zing
Time and Tide - All in Jim5.40AcceptableOn KeyKeg, OK but little if any head and overcarbonated as is KeyKeg's wont
Northdown - He-Bru4.80AcceptableVery citrus but flat as a pancake with little if any condition making it a chore
Wantsum - Black Prince3.90Not Tried

Yet another Thanet Micropub, in The Broadway just west of the railway station. Converted from an off licence called The Offy and opened on Saturday 3rd November 2018.
