My first visit for very many years and completely different to how I remember it when Mr. and Mrs. Lock ran the place. A very comfortable bar and ideal for a nice relaxing drink.

Part of the White Cliffs Hotel this pub has previously been known at the Clyffe Hotel and the Garden House Hotel. Noted for its locally sourced good quality food this pub normally offers two cask ales served by gravity dispense from a cooled area with glass fronted doors. More recently (spring 2022) planning permission to convert into residential flats has been granted but is being locally challenged.
