Late morning visit we met up with a mate we hadn't seen for a while and stayed far longer than planned in this cosy station waiting room.

Two visits today, one in the morning for a coffee and panini and an evening visit for beer. On the morning visit I entered from the platform and all seats were taken so I had to walk along the platform, through the barriers and in through the other door, and the same in reverse to catch my connecting train to Longport. There was a good crowd of us in the evening after a superb visit to Titanic Brewery, in spite of there being a departure screen inside the pub and the cheap North Western train conveniently parked outside the doors some of our crowd with Advance Purchase Tickets were enjoying their beers so much that they had no idea that they had missed it and would have to go and plead for mercy at the ticket office. A good atmosphere with young and enthusiastic staff.

This interesting pub is situated on Platform 1 of Stoke-on-Trent railway station in what used to be the First Class Lounge. There is access from both the street and Platform 1 but when the station ticket barriers are staffed there is a barrier between the front and back of the pub. Open from 06:00 Mondays to Saturdays and from 08:00 on Sundays. Alcoholic drinks are served from 08:00 daily. The barrier between the two halves of the bar is opened when the station barriers are not manned. There is a train departure screen inside the pub.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 8 different beers and tried 2 of them.
