Same nonsense trotted out about cask beer supposed to be flat. This kind of idiocy is killing cask beer. One culprit was an own label Buxton 5% Pale Ale.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Siren Craft - Sound Wave5.60ExcellentSpot-on APA.
Fallen - Grapevine New World Pale5.40PoorNo condition.

Oskar Blues - Death by Coconut6.50ExcellentWith a little more body this would be verging on 5*.
28 May 2019 (McGargle)
Great beer list. Think Firestone Walker, Oskar Blues, Sierra Nevada and Victory.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Firestone Walker - Luponic Distortion5.80GoodOld school American IPA.
25 Apr 2019 (McGargle)
Quiet.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Stone (Berlin) - Scarlet Hibiscus6.20AcceptableDryish pale ale.
Porter House - Plain Porter4.30PoorTotally lacking any condition. I was told that was how cask was supposed to be. Ho Hum!
28 Mar 2019 (McGargle)
Not all beers noted. 2 cask and 8 keg lines.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Fallen - New World Odyssey4.10Good£2.61 a pint!
14 Mar 2019 (McGargle)
Busy with a mostly younger set. Good atmosphere but haven't got the keg serve sorted; lots of fobbing.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Northern Monk - Faith5.40GoodLight and very hoppy Pale Ale. Perhaps, served a tad cold.
Fallen - Chew Chew6.00AcceptableBordering 2*. A fine stout failed by the serve. It comes from a jacketed cask behind the bar and was warm and totally lacking condition. The curse of cask - again. £2.90 a pint.
