Mid evening fairly busy around the bar and darts area, I sat at a table at the raised end of the pub, to which the barmaid kindly brought over my recently purchased and heated up samosa.

Late Victorian pub with two separate rooms. The lounge is often hired for private functions with in-house catering available. The Black Country Ales brewery is at the rear. Large crusty cobs are available daily. It is a five minute uphill walk from Gornal Wood bus station where the number 27 and 257 calls. The 27 also stops outside going downhill (towards bus station).
