We'd been on a long walk through limestone country.Quietly busy with drinkers and diners on a bright but cold Monday afternoon. We enjoyed some banter with the gasman who'd come to read the meter.

Pretty old pub in a row of terraces on a small green. Three rooms - the main bar, a side room with real fire and a back room. Very cosy.
