One of the most dilapidated frontages of a pub that I have been in for many years. Clearly a locals pub with a good selection of “coming soon” ales. Friendly welcome and a good chat with some regulars.

The pub is found in Fortuneswell, Dorset, DT5 1LZ.

Traditional town centre pub. Single, long bar parallel to the main road frontage. Plenty of bar seating with brass footing and a bar level rail. Noted live music venue. Portland’s oldest pub famous for being frequented by George III.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
