06 Mar 2019 (Stephen Harris)
Early evening and a very pleasant atmosphere here. I ring a friend to arrange to meet the following evening. He suggests the 9 Gallons and starts giving detailed directions. I send him a photo of my current position in the back bar.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Wander Beyond - Rising Embers7.00ExcellentStrong and fierce with a bitter, chocolatey malt taste. But somehow at the same time quite sweet, and vanilla flavoured.
Bristol Beer Factory - Quartet4.20GoodI'm a big fan of BBF beers, but not completely convinced that this one works. Sweet and hoppy.
Butcombe - Rare Breed (or Adam Henson's Rare Breed)3.80Not Tried
