Long evening journey rewarded with "last orders is 30 minutes before closing time" and an otherwise empty bar. Doesn't say this on the door nor in Facebook opening hours and has not applied when I have been in there before. Shan't bother again.

Late evening visit until close. Poor choice of cask ale types, all three being murky pale ales. Cmon there are other styles too. Fair dues to the barmaid for prompting me for CAMRA discount.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Beerblefish - S.M.A.S.H.5.20AcceptableHad no head, lacing nor condition but tasted OK. No beer board pre-warning it would be murky. Initially had an off-putting broken yeasty scummy head that very soon dissipated

My first visit here, very welcoming and CAMRA discount offered immediately. Just time for one quick pint before heading off to meet some friends in the nearby Star & Garter (see Magnus's entry for 19 July for details). There was a beer from Moor available as well as the two ales that I have listed, I did not make a note of which one it was.
