Early evening - our first stop on the canal after traversing the wonderful Pontcycyllte Aqueduct. The pub had a relaxed comfortable feel to it with a few customers scattered around the different areas. We had an early dinner, which took a little while but was fresh and good. I liked it.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Stonehouse - Station Bitter3.90GoodA little sweet for my palate.
Magic Dragon (formerly New Plassey) - Eyton Gold4.00GoodA very pleasant golden ale in good nick.
Grey Trees - Apollo 505.00PoorVery disappointing- a collaboration with Purple Moose to celebrate the anniversary of the moon landing. This was the last pint out I think.
