Early evening - a recommendation from a fellow boater who we met queuing for a lock. The whole place was fascinating and comfortable - even the toilet graffiti was well thought out! The beer selection wasn’t great although this has won a local Camra award, so I think we were a bit unlucky. Retro music (60s and 70s) playing quite loudly but thoroughly enjoyed by our group and a couple of other family groups. Memorable evening.
