Filthy, rainy weather and this famous beer garden is barely ticking over. I suspect that it is on the verge of giving up for the day at 5pm. I'm nevertheless very pleased to have finally made a first visit here.

A gigantic beer garden located in the middle of the large Englisher Garten park (although served by bus route 58). There are several serveries and tables disappearing off towards the horizon. Other tables are located under the pagoda which gives the garden its name.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
