Late-afternoon. I once had a friend who worked here briefly as a barmaid. I reckon however that it is 32 years since my last visit.

The pub is found in Bayford, Hertfordshire, SG13 8PX.

A brick-built village pub with a small bar area and a larger dining room. Rear patio, car park and garden. Accommodation available. The pub name is often erroneously given as Bakers Arms, but no breadmaking is involved; the name relates to local bigwigs the Baker family. There are three handpumps on the bar counter.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
