Mid afternoon a few others dotted about in this ex Shep's pub. Unnecessary loud tinny music playing plus a couple of children running about detracted from an otherwise comfortable atmosphere.

In Hatchlands Road, attractive building on a bend in the road. L-shaped bar with an additional rear room. Former Friary Meux and Shepherd Neame house. Was the Foresters Arms until 1991.
