Lunchtime pint. We moored opposite on the Grand Union and walked under the canal via a very narrow “horse tunnel”. COVID precautions in operation so we sat in the garden and had table service. Very pleasant. I didn’t see the inside so plagiarised the WhatPub description.

The pub is found in Cosgrove, Northamptonshire, MK19 7JD.

An Everards pub in The Stocks in the centre of the village with the guest beers from the Everards list. A nice 'olde-worlde' feel inside the pub, particularly around the bar area with low ceilings and large open fireplace. There are several secluded areas, some with half wood-panelling, which make for a relaxed atmosphere. The walls are adorned with canal memorabilia. The patio leads onto an extensive garden which stretches down to the Grand Union canal.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
