Evening visit until close. A dog to find in a mass of 30s avenues, closes and crescents. Thriving and very noisy inside with some sort of quiz taking place over PA. Clearly popular with local residents where they was no pub before this opened. As a stranger soon in conversation as to who I was and where from, in a friendly sort of way.

Afternoon visit after a complex journey from Blackheath. A very friendly and welcoming micropub. When it came to my round I had to ask for an alcohol free gin and tonic. Oh dear.

The pub is found in Bexley, Greater London, DA5 3AP.

Yet another Bexley Borough micropub that opened on 4th July 2020 when the Covid-19 re-openings allowed it. Located in Montpelier Avenue in a former dry cleaner's shop in the Penhill area in a small parade of shops in a quiet suburban setting. Real ales and ciders sold on gravity dispense from a chilled cellar room. Fills a massive geographical previously pub-less gap. Wall mounted high bench seats and tables towards front and some normal height tables and chairs towards the rear. Beware last orders are served only up to 30 minutes before advertised closing times.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 3 of them.
