Mid afternoon visit to this pleasant relaxed and enviable station waiting room. Just myself inside and one other chap sitting out on the platform side seating area.
Beermats - Soulmate4.20GoodHead shaking acetic kick with a powerful malty flavour. Not to my taste at all.
Zest (formerly Oldershaw) - The Whistle Stop3.80GoodFloral yeasty hoppy and light quaffing ale, specially brewed for the pub rather than a re-badged range ale.

I had not been here before so I planned my rail journey to give me almost one hour here whilst changing trains on my journey home. I have to say that I was disapppointed, just not what I was expecting, cask beer drinkers were notably absent.
