Having spent a couple of days on a narrowboat cruising into Bristol then Bath and failing to get into any pub due to pre-booking problems we were pleased to return here for an early evening couple of pints and a meal. Less busy than Saturday - we enjoyed a table at the top of the garden overlooking the river valley.

Excellent riverside walk from Avoncliff to this recommended pub. It didn’t disappoint- very busy on a Saturday with COVID restrictions but we had excellent service and a good meal. Will be back in normal times some day.
