Start of my 4 day, 3 county, bike trip. I rode here from Derby station in heavy rain. Very friendly welcome and a tour of the premises by a proud landlord when I told him I had sought out the pub as a Heritage listing.

The pub is found in Spondon, Derbyshire, DE21 7LH.

CAMRA heritage pub in Potter Street. A small bar as you enter with about 4 separate areas off the corridor, including one almost hidden through the bar itself. A large, early 20th century, extension to the side of the pub used as a games and function room with a full-size snooker table, two dart boards and its own servery. Garden to the rear.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
