We sat outside and if it wasn't for the sharp breeze would have been superb for a mid-march day. We sought this pub out as the brewery tap for Beach Head brewery. We felt a little disappointed. Two of their beers were on draught (the only two they do) and these were distinctively similar apart from strength. Both are mid-brown/copper coloured with a slight haze and dry. Didn't try the bottled Parson Darby's Hole which is a dark beer at 4%. Shame.

The pub is found in East Dean, East Sussex, BN20 0DA.

Nestled in the heart of the historic village green this pub is really nice. It's also the brewery tap for the Beachy Head micro. Steps down into two bars very olde-worlde. I suspect in summer it will be difficult to park anywhere near this place so be prepared to walk.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 3 of them.
