Lunchtime - they have developed the adjacent land into a splendid beer garden, partially covered. Beers still the same price as two years ago, fiver a pint but only £10 for five halves. 14 beers on in total - our cycling group ticked off a full house.

25 Aug 2024 (Jack William)
Lunchtime visit in the middle of their 3-day event. Mainly local ales straight from the cask as well as a range of ciders. Plastic glasses and a fiver a pint, but a flight of 5 halves for a tenner. We sat on the station platform, chatted and watched the two-car diesel locomotive come and leave a couple of times.
