Early afternoon and just one other customer when we arrived, we stayed for a couple of pints by which time there were a few more in. A very enjoyable visit and it is nice to see that this pub is just as it was when I first came here many years ago.

Came by train to Deal with a friend from work to meet my old boss in the pub. The No. 7 was so good we all drank far too much of it!

Came for a work colleagues stag-do. He's a local here so the fact that we took over the whole end of the main room was fine. The pub has a real old school feel to it and a pint of no.7 is £2.40!
