Quiet, but welcoming, real ale bar at the bottom of the main street in Horsforth. Free Wi-Fi. Dogs very welcome. Great, rotating range of yorkshire-based beers. Can always count on a Copper Dragon or Leeds Beer being on. Nice food, reflecting the 'brasserie' status. Knowledgable staff, as with all MTT pubs. No music or sports. Small outside seating area to side of pub. Decent selection of World Beers alongside Local ones, too.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Moorhouse's - Black Cat Mild3.40ExcellentLovely, roasty dark mild with a soft bitterness and a full flavour.
Copper Dragon - Challenger IPA4.40ExcellentCopper-hued and imbued with masses of peppery hop character from Challenger Hops. Not as agressive as some American IPA's, but slightly more fiery than traditional, mild 'English style' IPA's. A nice companion to Golden Pippin.
Leeds - Leeds Pale3.80ExcellentLeeds's best session beer - pale, with a tight, creamy head. Masses of grapefruit and tropical fruits on the nose, and gently bitter and spritzy on the swallow. Very nice on a hot day!!

Another excellent Market Town Taverns pub in Town Street, and by far the best place to drink in Horsforth. Small, but quiet, dogs welcome and beer always in good nick.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
