Just around the corner from where I was staying. The pub had 3 distinct, small rooms. The public bar was empty, the saloon bar was packed and the snug out the back had a few folk in. Nice pub.

quiet, no sports. Two bar areas, and one 'tap room' with acid-etched glass. Benefits from being no-smoking!! A worthy stop if drinking in the 'New Briggate' area (North Bar, Sela, Mojo's, Sandinista'. Deuchars and TT Landlord regular, guest beers rotating. Beer always in decent form.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Belhaven - Caledonian Deuchars IPA3.80ExcellentAlways a safe bet - pale, gently hoppy and refreshing. Maybe not as good as it once was, but always comes through.
Everards (see entries against Joule's & Robinsons whilst its new brewery was being built) - Sunchaser4.00GoodPaler offering from Everards - with an almondy malt backbone and a fruity finish. A little flat, but decent nontheless. Would choose again.
