Can get busy sometimes, but overall a decent boozer, with nice food and atmosphere. Staff ok, good range of beers. No tv - worth a visit for the decor alone.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Timothy Taylor - Landlord4.30ExceptionalAlways in good nick at the Adelphi. Smooth, fruity and refreshing. Excellent session choice; pale in colour and with a tight head.
Brains - SA4.20ExcellentA good beer to give people who 'don't like beer' - tropical fruits and a good hop-bite, this golden ale is really refreshing and zingy.
Specialist - Fruli4.10GoodRefreshing Witbeer made with Strawberry Juice. Quite partial to this on a hot day - smooth but not too sweet. Has a nice tartness to it. Not everyone's cup of tea (or Pint of Ale) though!
