Philip PirripExcellent20 May 2013 Mellow ruby bitter of the old English variety. The barmaid chose this for me when I asked for a brown standard English bitter

IanGood15 Apr 2006 Deep ruby, beige thin head. Malty coffee and rich fruit aroma. Good in mouth with more choc/coffee with jammy strawberry. Sour hops kick in on end which is very lasting but I’m not sure this harsh sourness fits in with the rest of the beer.
AndrewExcellent15 Apr 2006 A dark black pint with a creamy bitterness to it. Lots of rounded milkyness with some burnt malt and a slight sour finish. Tasted similar to Arundel Mild.
