Martin the MildmanExcellent30 Apr 2011 Dark brown with low hoppiness and some yeasty flavours. Plenty of roast and chocolate malt too. My score 16/20.

Martin the MildmanExcellent11 May 2010 An explosion of dark malty flavours in the initial hit, with coffee, chocolate and toast all mixed in. Towards the finish slight fruity citrus notes creep in before the roast flavours linger in the finish. My score 16/20.

IanAcceptable16 May 2007 Very dark ruby with thin beige head. Some choc/coffee in mouth. Good tasting in mouth. Finish has some choc/charcoal and a bit of spicyness. Decent mild, though aroma is poor. Middle and end are good. I keep having Pictish beers as Gazza Prescott swears by them.
