McGargleUndrinkable21 Oct 2014 This is very much an 'IMHO' beer. Notthin wrong with the condition or presentation. It looked an inviting dark amber with a long lasting creamy head. But it was (IMHO) undrinkable. The recipe was overly complicated (spiced with ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and allspice, together with pumpkin concentrate) and spicing levels badly misjudged. It was as if an inexpert chef had tipped random pre-ground spices into some fruit juice. Doesn't anyone taste the beers before releasing them?

Stephen HarrisGood16 Oct 2014 Pumpkin beers are not everybody’s cup of tea, but I like them. I could smell the pumpkin in here as the beer was being pulled – surely a good sign? The beer is also heavily spiced and noticeably strong.
