AlenomoreGood24 Oct 2010 A new ale from Britains oldest brewer! Not quite sure what other Shep's ale this one reminded me of. Much more hoppier than Shep's usual swill. Being a nationwide beer festival, this ale will not have come from the micro-brewery for sure!

Martin the MildmanAcceptable23 Oct 2010 Quite a dark amber/red bitter with an initial bitterness. This develops into a rather one dimensional flavour with little balance. My score 13/20.
