Just up from The Guildhall, this is another solid pub in The Bayle. L shaped bar serves a small restaurant area and a longer drinking area with a raised area leading to the pubs. Good old aerial photos of Folkestone adorn th e walls. Although I walked in just after last orders had been called at 4pm, the landlord was happy to pour me a pint. Also, had a chalkboard with forthcoming beers being advertised.

Skinner's - Cornish Knocker Ale4.50AcceptableIt took a bit of pouring, but tasted all right. All that pulling on the handpull rather meant it lost some of its carbonation and body. Still some nice citrus fruits.
Greene King - IPA (was 3.6%)3.40Not Tried2 of the 5 handpumps had this on.
Greene King - Abbot5.00Not Tried
Batemans - Rosey Nosey4.90Not TriedAlthough if I had remembered how much I liked it, I would have had this.
