A must do while in Deal - very busy for early evening, friendly welcome from the owner's daughter without prompting offered us 'beerboard' tasters of today's four. We perched outside on the window sill and soaked up the evening sun.

Early afternoon, I was surprised to find a friend from Essex in here who had decided to visit Deal on a whim. I was so surprised that I forgot to switch my 'phone off and had to forfeit £1 when it beeped to indicate that Mr. Pirrip had sent me an email.
