Fabulous Ploughmans. Best I have had in many a year. Worth it just for that. But the beer is of an equally high standard
BeerABVScoreNotes
Hopdaemon - Leviathan6.00ExceptionalLast one before the driver arrived. I took one home for the evening too ! STUNNING
Brentwood - Chestnut Stout3.90ExceptionalI hope that this is not just a seasonal brew. It is so smooth and silky
Hopdaemon - Skrimshander IPA4.50ExceptionalWhat joy! One of may favorite bottled brews on draught !
Hopdaemon - Golden Braid3.70ExcellentSimply stunning pint.
Brentwood - Spooky Moon3.80ExcellentIt is beer that makes pubs. If only all Landlords realised what they know at the Padwell. Good beer= lots of customers

Very quiet on a snowy Saturday lunchtime. The week had been difficult , with snow related disruption and staff shortages.Unfortunately, the Larkin's Porter had finished_ I haven't come across this yet this winter.Good Cumberland Sausages and mash!
BeerABVScoreNotes
Larkins - Traditional3.40ExcellentThe more I drink this, the more I like it, as a traditional flavoursome Kent bitter. As mentioned above, it was very cold due to the snow, but the hops shone through, but not masking the depth of body.Tawny in colour-a proper beer colour!
