Came here on Bank Holiday Monday with crystal blue sky and sun baking down on the garden. Lovely pub in the village next to the church. Garden has bench tables and a swing and slide for children. Two room bar has 4 handpumps with 3 from Goachers and a guest. Side room has a pool table, the main room with the bar has plenty of tables and seating. Felt very relaxed and comfortable and I will certainly be going back

Goacher's - Real Mild Ale3.40ExceptionalDark ruby colour. Perfect easy drinking mile with lots of chocolate and toffee and burnt malt grainy finish. Excellent for this style of beer
Goacher's - Fine Light Ale3.70ExcellentVery light today. Deep gold, with tangerine and malt aromas, fine in mouth and the finish is more citric orange/tangerine and some hop. Easy drinking session beer. More please barman!

Arrived at 11.40 and there were only 2 other people in. Unfortunately I was driving but Charlie had the mild and said it was very good

This is a little jem. Friendly and busy with lots of interesting things on the walls - like a pie in a picture frame.
