It was nice sitting by the window looking out at the roof tops of Wincheap. It reminded me of sitting in the back of my dad's car in the 80's in one of those endless Wincheap traffic jams that gave you plenty of opportunity to idly observe every detail of Wincheap's sun-baked, grubbiness. Anyway, this is only the 3rd time I've ever been in this pub, which is a bit of a shame really. It was very relaxing and I could have sat there all day.

I was a little disappointed at the range of beers when I came in but the Harvey's was superb. There was a mixture of clientele in sitting at the bar or eating. I like this pub.

The pub is found in Canterbury, Kent, CT1 3RY.

This is a traditional one room pub on Wincheap heading south out of the city. Central bar serves 2 areas. One has darts, bar billiards, Sky Sports on wall mounted flat screen TV and a fireplace, whilst on the other side of the bar are more tables and chairs. Hops decorate the wooden beams and bar. Four handpumps. Pumpclips behind the bar and on the wall are testament to the beers they've had on in the past but the range is far more limited of late. Bat and Trap and Darts leagues also feature.

We have visited this pub 33 times, seen 45 different beers and tried 29 of them.
