Friday lunch time session and it was faily busy with couples having food. We sat outside on the river bank to start with and that was great. Just the view and a pint of Goachers.

| Goacher's - Real Mild Ale | 3.40 | | Another interesting beer. Sweet and sharp to start with followed by burnt malt on the finish. What I imagine a classic mild to taste like. Not what I would have expected from my favourite beer but good none the less |

Got there when it opened at 11am and by 12.30 it was packed. Being a bright but cold day there were a few walkers in but mainly people who'd driven

| Goacher's - Mildly Original | 3.70 | | Okay we made this beer up by mixing Original with the Mild but hey, it worked. Good malty taste of the Original worked well with the burnt malt of the mild. May be Mr. Goacher should have a taste. |

Kent white clapperboard building on the Oare creek overlooking the Isle of Sheppey. Excellent home cooked food and a choice of Kent micro beers all on gravity

The pub is found in Faversham, Kent, ME13 7TU.
Ancient white weatherboarded pub out on the Swale creek at Hollowshore, this is a mecca for anyone who likes Kentish beers and marsh countryside. The walk along the creek to the pub is wonderful and good for bird life and views across to the Isle of Sheppey and up to Whitstable. Beers are normally from Goacher's plus occasional guests and feature Goacher's Mild, Shipwrecked (a Goacher's special badged and brewed for the pub) and either Gold Star or Original. A beer lovers' paradise but also with a reputation for good food and has a separate restaurant room. All real ales are served by gravity direct from the casks visible behind the bar.
We have visited this pub 35 times, seen 29 different beers and tried 18 of them.
