Very quiet on a Saturday lunchtime.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Titanic - Nautical Mild4.80GoodDark ruby/black strong mild with a bitter chocolate malt character. A little hoppiness in the finish. My score 15/20.

Teeming it down with rain so we ducked in here en route from the Brunswick to the Smithfield. Not my favourite pub on our Derby crawl. Almost library-quiet inside and a very dated feel to the place.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Castle Rock - Harvest Pale3.80GoodGood, sessionable, improved with every sip. Cascades slightly muted by the sparkler.

Penultimate stop on our 8 pub crawl of Derby and I liked this place. Relaxed feel but with plenty seeming to be going on.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Castle Rock - Screech Owl5.50AcceptableGold, lasting white head. Slightly ascetic strong golden beer, not overly syrupy, alcohol not too present. Yeah just a bit too ascetic, decent lemon and fullness in mouth.
