Fantastic unspoilt country pub, I had heard many things and stories about this pub about that it was once close to closure and was saved and bought by a famous rock star so i just had to give it a visit and I was not disappointed the pub is wonderful :) plus the stories are true :)

Lunch time visit to this unspoilt country pub, very friendly staff and locals, John Illsley (Dire Straits) bought the pub after hearing that it was up for sale and did not want the pub going into the wrong hands and ruining it, thank god for that! This was a cold Sunday lunchtime but was pleased to see a lovely fire ablaze the bar was packed with drinkers. Such a nice afternoon:)
