Lunchtime - busy but good service and we had a couple of rather tasty fish burgers and chips. I was allowed round the bar area to take a picture of the record written on the ceiling of the one and only 4-Way channel swim crossing completed by Sarah Thomas of the USA last September in 59 hours and 10 minutes. Humbling.

Lunchtime- nicely busy, mainly lunching. I was here with 5 old mates to play Liar Dice in memory of one of our group who sadly passed this year. 20 years playing this hugely amusing game and I am still a novice.

On the recommendation of Keith from Lanes (which is closed today). New ownership this year. Pleasant enough but the beers were not inspiring.
