These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Stephen Harris | 30 Jan 2012 | Dark and rich and full of cherries, without descending into sweetness. Pretty good, but none of the flavours are as developed as in an earlier sample I tried of this beer. |

Stephen Harris | 12 Jan 2012 | A very deep brown coloured, cherry porter. The overwhelming flavour is smooth chocolate. There are no burnt or toasty flavours that I can detect. A slight fizz on the tongue, and the cherry taste comes through towards the end but is not sweet. My assumption is that this US beer is brewed at Cropton. |

Martin the Mildman | 27 Dec 2011 | Dark brown porter with quite a bitter taste but not much cherry flavour. Rather thin, fruity finish. My score 15/20. |
