Hogan SamplingGood09 May 2025 7th beer: Presented with some head and lacing on this bitter from Castle Douglas, south-west of Dumfries in Scotland. A hoppy fruit-infused first hit. A dry oily hoppiness then presented itself in the mouthfeel from the three different hop varieties used. A pleasant bitterness lingered alongside a sweet fruity infusion from its caramel flavourings and Maris Otter and Crystal malts just gave it even more!
