Tasting Summary

These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

Hogan SamplingGood13 Dec 2025 This Cheshire-brewed winter ale from Warrington presented a good head and I duly approved it after my tasting of it. Its lacing went on to prove it could last just as well as me on this epic of an outing! A mildly fruited first bite with hints of pear. A hoppy bitterness rising with the odd spicy note from its cinnamon and ginger flavourings. A touch of caramel in on the mix sailing off into the sunset. It helped to sink my curry admirably!
