These comments are the opinion of the individual reviewer and represent what they thought of the beer on a particular day in a particular pub. If a review is less favourable, it may be because the beer suffered somewhere in the supply chain between them and the brewery.

BrianExceptional17 Dec 2010 Stunning! A seasonal take on Bitter and Twisted I imagine but really superb. Amber colour, good lasting foam head. Huge front of the mouth hit of pear drops and citrus fruit, followed by a well balanced malt finish. There are definitely two separate aspects to this, so the flavours may not always be so intergrated, but this pint was great.

IanAcceptable14 Jan 2007 Copper colour, disappearing head. Just a bit dull on the aroma. Biscuity malt, some toffee, some sharp hop that is a bit sherberty. Not as intense as I would expect a Harviestoun beer to be. Reasonable fullness in mouth, some nuttiness. Dryish finish.
